Abstract
Osteomyelitis is defined as an inflammation of the bone and bone marrow, usually secondary to infection. This is why the term has been used for the use and description of an infection in bone tissue. In this case we will assess the one generated by hematogenous dissemination in the pediatric population. When evaluating the clinical cases present in the child population, it becomes a challenge for the doctor, due to the multiple variants, both with the adult population and between the different presentations in pediatrics. These types of diseases evolve over time and each one must be treated individually due to the mutation capacity of the pathogens involved. In addition, the topic becomes important due to the increase in antibiotic resistance, which is becoming a more important health problem, not only due to increasingly resistant germs; but to the abuse of antibiotic therapies that we have. That is why an adequate diagnosis and a treatment directed to the specific germ is of the most importance and must be promptly adopted when the culture is obtained.
