Abstract
We are currently in a world where the scientific and technological changes are vertiginous, which leads us to rethink the teaching-learning models used in educational institutions, incorporating information and communication technologies within our educational process, this implies a challenge and an opportunity, as mentioned by Peppino (2004) "to change the traditional role of the teacher and the student, to generate adequate materials and, above all, to reflect on the essential competencies to face the changes as well as on the structures of the system higher education
