Abstract
Dr. Escudero was born on August 11, 1877 in Buenos Aires. He graduated with a medal of honor from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, held important positions in the area for more than 20 years and worked throughout his life in the planning and implementation of health policies. He stood out for having been founder and director of the National Institute of Nutrition of Argentina.
