Abstract
Vasculopathies are quite frequent in the population, especially in the female gender, largely due to a hormonal component; however, in this bibliographical review we will focus on a type of superficial thrombophlebitis that exclusively afflicts males.
Mondor's disease of the penis specifically affects the dorsal vein of the penis in sexually active young men in most cases. It almost always presents a benign and self-resolving course, so its management is usually conservative.
