Abstract
For many years, neuroscience specialists, linguistics and psychology have studied therelationship between language and what we as subjects perceive and interpret from the reality. A fundamental question in this line is to understand the role of words and how they affect subjective elaboration of the understanding of the world. There is a clear difference between our immediate reality and how to use the words to interpret and understand that reality. Each subject, from his own subjectivity, generates his behavior patterns. Our perception of reality goes through a filter made by our experiences,
personal history and experiences of each individual.Paraphrasing Aristotle in Rationalist Conception of the language, cited in León Gómez (1983), the spoken words they are the symbols of mental experience and written words are the symbols of the spoken words
