Abstract

The knee ultrasound where he has not shown blunt results is in the valuation of the intraarticular parts, ie meniscus and cruciate ligaments, in addition to cartilage (chondromalacia for example) and bone edema associated with trauma or cartilage injury (injury osteochondral), there are visualization reports of ligaments crossed sonographically, mainly the later one, however it is not possible an adequate assessment of it, so that for the intraarticular portion of the knee follows being the magnetic resonance (MR) the study to Choice for its high sensitivity and specificity.
